SnapRegister, Inc. ("SnapRegister") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This policy outlines how we handle copyright infringement claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").

Fair Process

Users may submit counter-notifications if they believe content was wrongly removed.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on SnapRegister infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to be infringed
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service (e.g., URL)
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the removed material and its prior location
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and phone number
  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or Delaware if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

4. Repeat Infringers

SnapRegister will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyrighted material.

5. Misrepresentation Warning

Warning: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

6. SnapRegister Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SnapRegister, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

7. User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of content they upload to SnapRegister (such as product images). By uploading content, you represent that:

  • You own the content or have the right to use it
  • The content does not infringe any third-party rights
  • You grant SnapRegister a license to use the content solely to provide the Service

8. Trademark Notice

"SnapRegister" and related logos are trademarks of SnapRegister, Inc. Other product and company names mentioned on the Service may be trademarks of their respective owners. Use of any trademark without permission is prohibited.
